Our story
From the road up
Stella was founded by team, who both spent years building one of Scandinavia’s leading electric taxi operations.
They lived the reality of going electric: the downtime, the detours, and the lack of fast chargers where drivers actually work.
Charging was built for commuters, not professionals.
So they set out to fix it.
Stella was created to make electric driving work for the people who keep our cities moving - taxi drivers, couriers, and fleets that rely on uptime.
We’re building a network of ultra-fast chargers inside cities, close to where the rides start and end. By combining smart battery storage with high-power charging, we make it faster, more stable, and easier to expand.
We launched our first site in April 2021, and now we’re expanding across Scandinavia. Setting out to build the infrastructure that will make urban electric mobility truly work at scale.
